A Haunting Smile Under the Moonlight 🌙👻

Here’s a drawing I created of Gengar, one of my favorite Ghost-type Pokémon. I wanted to capture that mischievous grin that makes Gengar so iconic, so I put him right under a full moon to give the piece an eerie, Halloween-like atmosphere. The rough shading and scratchy texture add to that unsettling vibe, like he just emerged from the shadows to cause some playful chaos.

The moon in the background was a fun detail to add—slightly cracked and covered with dark clouds, it helps frame Gengar in his natural spooky setting. The colors lean toward darker purples, greens, and grays to keep that ghostly tone consistent throughout.

I really enjoyed experimenting with the mix of bold outlines and sketchy fills. It gives the drawing an almost comic-like energy, which feels perfect for Gengar’s personality—playful, sneaky, and just a little menacing.
