In Floppy Art 006, I wanted to take this iconic piece of retro tech and pair it with another symbol of identity, community, and expression: the Progress Pride Flag.

The drawing features a large gray floppy disk placed at the center of a soft pink background. The disk's label has been replaced with the Progress Pride Flag, instantly transforming this piece of obsolete technology into something modern and meaningful. Above and below the floppy disk are the words "FLOOPY ART", each letter drawn in different bright colors, giving the artwork a playful and handmade appearance.

One of my favorite aspects of this piece is its intentionally rough style. The thick black outlines and visible sketch marks give it the feel of a doodle created in a notebook or on the margins of school papers. The texture keeps it from feeling too polished and makes it fit naturally within the Floppy Art series. The hand-drawn imperfections give the piece personality and warmth.

The use of the Progress Pride Flag inside the floppy disk's label creates an interesting contrast.
